NORDSTROM CIRCLE CENTRE ANNOUNCES ADDITION OF DESIGNER APPAREL COLLECTIONS
SEATTLE, October 28, 2002 - Nordstrom Circle Centre announced today that beginning in late January 2003, it will offer Indianapolis customers a selection of some of the most renowned names in American and European designer apparel.
"Our buyers have been working with our American and European designers over the last few months to bring in truly outstanding designer collections," said Doug McCoy, Nordstrom Circle Centre store manager. "We're couldn't be happier about this exciting addition to our store, which will allow us to more fully serve the fashion needs of our customers."
The store's new Collectors department will open with the following Nordstrom exclusive collections from Escada, Christian Lacroix, Michael Kors, Donna Karan Collection, Ralph Lauren Black Label, Missoni, Roberto Cavalli, Zang Toi and Piazza Sempione.
The store had carried designer apparel from 1995 when it opened until 1998. "We recognized that a great many people in the community relied on and were very loyal to Jacobson's for their designer wardrobes," said McCoy. "With their closing, we felt customers here in Indianapolis might welcome another option for American and European collections. We are sad to lose a fine retail neighbor like Jacobson's, and will do our best to fill the void they leave in the shopping environment."
