SEATTLE, Wash. - Feb. 21, 2001 - Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of Nordstrom, Inc., announced today it will open a new store at Dulles Town Crossing in Dulles, Va. The 35,000 square foot store is scheduled to open in fall 2001 and will be the second Nordstrom Rack located in Virginia. Nordstrom Rack first opened in Virginia in 1990 at Potomac Mills in Woodbridge.

Nordstrom Rack offers clearance merchandise transferred from Nordstrom full-line stores and NORDSTROM.com. Nordstrom has developed long-standing relationships with many top national brands which allows Nordstrom Rack to offer an extensive selection of name brand apparel and accessories for women, men and children at 30 - 75 percent off regular prices. Nordstrom Rack also features on-site alterations and over 25,000 pairs of shoes.

"Since Nordstrom Rack receives new merchandise each week, customers will enjoy a great selection whenever they shop with us."

Other merchants who have signed on to the Dulles Town Crossing project include Bed, Bath & Beyond, Lowes, Wal-Mart, Cost Plus World Market, Ethan Allen and Sam’s Club.

Nordstrom announced plans to open a new full-line store at Dulles Town Center in Dulles that is scheduled to open in fall of 2002.
