NORDSTROM RACK ANNOUNCES NEW STORE IN CHANDLER, ARIZONA
SEATTLE - (April 25, 2000) Nordstrom Inc., one of the nation’s leading fashion specialty retailers, announced it will open a Nordstrom Rack store in Chandler, AZ on October 27, 2000. The 32,000 square foot store will be located in the Chandler Festival shopping center and will open on the same day as the Nordstrom Rack store in Scottsdale, AZ at the Scottsdale Promenade. Nordstrom has plans to open a full line store in Chandler at Chandler Fashion Center on October 19, 2001. Chandler Festival and Chandler Fashion Center will be part of a regional center offering customers a wide range of food, entertainment and shopping options.
Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of Nordstrom Inc. and offers clearance merchandise transferred from Nordstrom full-line stores and Nordstrom.com. Since Nordstrom has developed long-standing relationships with many top national brands, Nordstrom Rack is able to offer customers an extensive selection of name brand apparel and accessories for women, men and children at 30 - 75 percent off regular prices. In addition to apparel and gifts, Nordstrom Rack also features 30,000 pairs of shoes.

Other merchants who have signed on to Chandler Festival shopping center include Lowe’s Home Improvement, Ross Dress For Less, Linens ‘N Things, TJ Maxx, Ultimate Electronics, PetsMart and Ulta.
Founded in 1970, Phoenix-based Westcor is the largest owner-manager of commercial properties in the Phoenix-metro area. Currently, Westcor’s portfolio includes 24 shopping centers including seven super-regional, three specialty retail, five neighborhood centers and nine power centers.
